To improve our eyesight without eyeglasses or surgeries

People are not satisfied with the helping of eyeglasses, contact lenses or Laser eye surgery to have a clear vision nowadays, and now they are seeking if there is other way to improve their eyesight without the above measures. Actually, many studies and researches have been done on this subject. If we want to get a definite yes or no answer on its effectiveness, it is really difficult to say. There are indeed some people who have improved their vision in the other way, but it still needs more and more researches to be made to prove it.
The other way we mentioned to get better vision without the help of eyeglasses, contact lenses, or Laser eye surgery is as following: First, to find out the real causes for our poor vision problem and try to avoid these cases. Then give our eyes much training in order to let it come back to its original shape. The causes for eyesight problem refer to some environmental factors, instead of genetic factors. Actually, environmental factors play more important role in people’s eyesight problem than genetic ones, such as reading under dark or too light environment, watching TV for too much time, working before computer screen for longtime.
Let us talk about the two steps separately. First, if we know the causes for our eye problem, and try to avoid these cases and develop good habits for our eyes, the result will be surely good for us to prevent our eyesight from deteriorating and to improve our poor eyesight to some extent. Then give our eyes some training to get it come back to their earlier level. For this point, many people hold some doubts that if our eye muscle can be same as other muscles in our body and able to get back to its original effectiveness through training.  
Firstly, we need to know eye muscle is not like other muscles in our body at all, which has a totally different cell structures. But this does not mean we can improve our eyesight by training. There have been several good samples to prove that people can improve their organs by certain training. For example, giving the specific training, we are able to have better circulation for our hearts, and better capacity for our lungs. From this point, we can see it has some possibility to improve our poor eyesight in this way, without the help of eyeglasses, contact lenses, or Laser eye surgery. Anyway, it is a promising field which is waiting for more and more researchers to investigate further.

Do eye exercises and enjoy good vision

Many people believe that eyeglasses and lenses or surgeries are needed if they have some vision errors. And most of them think doing eye exercises can do no real benefits to their eyes. However, it is proved that eye exercises can really help improve vision among people of certain groups, like eye fatigue.

It is found that many people get vision problems due to eye pressure and strain. This is because most of them have to read or do something closely for very long time each day. This is also why teachers, students and so like, are more likely to get eye problems, whereas those farmers or soldiers seldom get. Therefore, if people do not look at object in the distance, their eyes and eye muscles will be pressured and deformed. And vision becomes blurred as a result.

In fact, eye muscles are so flexible that they can adjust according to people’s vision area and distance. But they also become powerless when people do not see in the distance. And the result is nearsightedness, farsightedness and many other vision problems occur.

And people’s living condition is attributed to the occurrence of different vision problems. This is much obvious as more and more high-tech products are used, like computers, TV, etc. Eyes have to focus on the monitor or do hand-close reading and eye muscles loose their elasticity gradually. This is also why so many people are now suffering from computer-related vision symptoms.

People who often stare are monitors seldom blink and have their eyes greatly pressured. And they run very high risk of getting vision problems. Luckily, all these pressure can be well relieved by doing certain eye exercises- look at objects around or in the distance every half an hour.

In addition, eye problems can also be results of aging process. And this is can never be stopped- it is a natural process. However, there are still some solutions for it. Some eye exercises can really help slow down the aging process in eyes. And many people have benefited a lot in so doing. Therefore, eye exercises are really critical and essential for people’s eye sight.

What’s more, people should also keep a balanced diet while doing eye exercises if they really want to have clear vision. Doing so can help prevent a lot of potential vision problems, because some nutrients in foods can help slow down or stop some harmful reaction in bodies.

Anyway, eye exercises are natural, simple and effective to prevent or treat vision problems of certain kind.

How to correct our eyesight?

It is common that people may feel eye stressed and tired after working on computers, watching TV for long time. Researches show eye stress is one of the main reasons for eyesight problems. Then we need to find solutions to correct our eyesight. There are the following ways we can use to help us to see clearly:

The most commonly used one is to wear eyeglasses, which is also an old way. People benefit from eyeglasses for long centuries. Nowadays, there are a wide variety of glasses available on the market. The lens is made of different materials, such as polycarbonate, high-index and regular plastic. There are coatings outside in order to be UV resistant and anti-reflective. And there are various frames and colors available for your choice.

While enjoying the clear vision eyeglasses bring to us, people find there are also disadvantage and inconvenience of wearing eyeglasses, for example, wearing glasses will influence their appearance and show their weakness to others, and it is not convenient for people to take some sports with a pair of eyeglasses on their nose bridge, bouncing up and down.

There are many different kinds of lens available in order to satisfy people’s different needs. Soft contact lens is the most commonly used one. They are comfortable to wear as there are high amounts of water rich in oxygen, which can pass freely through our eyes. For people wearing soft contact lens, please keep in mind to clean and maintain it every day, or else, it will be easy to get infected.

Compared with soft contact lens, hard contact lens are less comfortable to wear as it is made of rigid material and allows less oxygen to pass through our eyes. Rigid gas-permeable lens can make up the disadvantage of rigid contact lens, which is made of semi-hard lens and can allow more oxygen to pass through the eye. Rigid gas-permeable lens is often used by astigmatism patients.

As people may feel it is inconvenient and time consuming to clean their contacts everyday, the extended-wear lenses and disposable contact lenses are invented. Extended contacts can be worn continuously without removing it at night. But people with extended contacts are likely to get infection. And disposable lenses can allow people to wear for the limited period of time, such as a day, a week or a month, after it, just throw them away. This kind of contact lens is comfortable to wear as it is made of thinner material with higher amount of water, and another disadvantage of it is it is not easy to get infected.

Besides wearing eyeglasses or contact lenses, people can also resort to Laser eye surgery for help. For certain eye problem, Laser eye surgery can help people to realize their dream of discarding eye glasses in their later life. And it has a high rate of success and less time for recovery. But before taking this surgery, it is advised to visit our eye doctor to do some eye tests so as to see if the surgery is applicable to us.
